Improving Order Fulfilment Times with Courier Integration for SAP Business One

Improving Order Fulfilment Times with Courier Service Integration for SAP Business One Customers.

Fulfilling a sales order, whether it originates from your eCommerce web store or taken over the telephone is a critical piece of a business’s operations.

Providing goods quickly and efficiently can result in positive feedback on review websites and can encourage repeat business.

Whilst many businesses pride themselves on offering a great customer experience, in the background a team of employees or a dedicated despatch team are required to manually extract orders from SAP Business One and your eCommerce store/s and manually place the order with a courier service for fulfilment.

The downside to this is:

• Bi-directional data entry.
• Time-consuming.
• Costly.

So How Can You Improve Your ‘Order to Fulfilment’ Times to Maintain High Customer Service Levels?

The answer is to establish a seamless SAP Business One integration with your eCommerce store and a courier service provider that enables the automatic synchronisation of information between business systems and applications with your selected shipping service(s).

Common Requirements for Courier Service Integration Include:

• Automated publishing of tracking numbers to customer portals and eCommerce solution/s.
• Automated proof of delivery into SAP Business One.
• Automated identification of orders for fulfilment and printing of labels.
• Automatic placement of sales orders with your courier service provider.
• Automated tracking number notifications sent to customers via SMS or email.
• Automatic creation and distribution of reports.

Achieving an automated despatch process can be attained through introducing an SAP Certified, simple to install and easy to maintain integration and business process automation solution, BPA Platform.

BPA Platform is a business process automation solution for SAP Business One that provides the ability to synchronise sales order information between systems and applications and can extract customer data including email addresses and mobile phone numbers to:

• Eradicate bi-directional data entry and associated errors
• Improve the dispatch process and remove associated bottlenecks
• Save time within the warehouse
• Reduce delivery update status queries
• Improve customer satisfaction and experience.

What Courier Services Can BPA Platform Integrate With?

BPA Platform can integrate with practically any courier service or shipping application including:

KFA Connect also has first-hand experience in integrating SAP Business One with GFS (Global Freight Solutions) – having completed a project for a customer which also included implementing ScanB1, our own warehouse barcode Scanning solution designed and developed for SAP B1 customers.

In summary, BPA Platforms’ courier service integration solutions automate the flow of information between your shipping system, eCommerce application and SAP Business One to remove repetitive administration, improve despatch times and enhance customer satisfaction.

KFA Connect March Challenge for Carey’s Friends – Day 28

A KFA Connect team are Completing a Month of ‘March Madness’ for Carey’s Friends!!

Day 28 – Monday, 28th March 2022

The KFA team are busy fundraising for Carey’s Friends.

Carey is the much-loved Nephew of KFA Connect Directors, Richard & Liz Austin. Carey was nine months old when in December 2021 he was diagnosed with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukaemia (JMML), a rare form of blood cancer. Carey has recently spent his first birthday in hospital.

Please help us raise some money for the Children’s Cancer & Leukemia Group (CCLG) for the ongoing research into JMML. Research into childhood cancers is very badly funded and more work is urgently needed to give children like Carey the best possible outcomes.

We can help to make that happen. Carey’s parents have called the fund ‘Carey’s Friends’ because, along with all the other little children with JMML, that’s what you are. Whether fundraising, donating or helping us spread the word, you’re all Carey’s friends. For Carey and for other babies and children who are suffering, we hope you will join us.

Some of the team are cycling, running, some are jogging and others walking – but all are taking on their own personal target to complete in March for Carey’s Friends.

Our team of 6 are taking on personal challenges this March:

  • Richard is going to cycle 500 km
  • Liz is going to run/jog/walk 160 km
  • Pauline is going to walk 160 km
  • Joe is going to walk 160 km
  • Nicki is going to jog/walk 160 km
  • Julita is going to run/jog/walk 500km – yes you read that right, 500km!!

Here we are on day 28 and the team have raised over £1,200 and covered over 1,500km between them – and will keep pushing until the end of the month when they just might collapse into a big heap!

Julita has already managed her goal and has Walked/Jogged/Run over her 500km goal! Well done Julita – you are a superstar!!!

To me – we ALL are Superstars and we are doing a fantastic job for an amazing cause.

Well done to all of us!” 😊

Last year I thought it would be easy, today, if I’m completely honest (having done it last year) I know it won’t be!

So please, get behind our team – for Carey and his family and everyone who is helped by CCLG!
